Examples of Custom Color Standards.

Mt. Baker Research manufactures custom color standards in sizes and shapes that are tailored to our client's requirements. For clients who place a purchase order, our free design services include preparing machine drawings and outsourcing the machining of ceramic materials.

The precision machining of ceramics is difficult, time-consuming and highly specialized. Depending on the required method of machining, and subject to scheduling by our suppliers, for simple designs our custom fabrication service typically requires 6 - 12 weeks between receipt of a purchase order and shipment of the parts.

We offer traceable calibration services for our custom color standards. Depending on the number of calibrations, our fees range from 25% to 35% of the cost of similar calibrations at NRC.
