Large Matrix Arrays

This preliminary listing is subject to change. We are developing this large matrix array as a basis for profiling digital cameras. The array extends and replaces the X-rite ColorChecker Chart. Our ceramic array is cleanable, more durable, and more stable than the ColorChecker Chart, which is fabricated from coated paper. We ship each 30-tile array in a resealable laboratory-grade polyethylene bag.

Because the optical surface of the 30-tile matrix array is not flat, we do not recommend this array for use with portable or benchtop spectrophotometers. (The individual tiles are not sufficiently co-planar.) For the same reason we cannot calibrate or re-calibrate the 30-tile array after the tiles have been mounted.

We are developing a smaller, less expensive array that also contains 30 tiles. Contact us with inquiries.
