Calibrated Ceramic Plates

We offer certified, traceable calibrations of nominal 6x6-inch ceramic plates in 48 regular colors with a glossy surface finish. We ship each plate in a resealable laboratory-grade polyethylene bag. Our fees do not include shipping, insurance, or fixturing (if required).

Depending on the number of calibrations, our fees range from 25% to 35% of the cost of similar calibrations at the National Research Council of Canada. (Caveat: Our abridged spectrophotometers output reflectance data at a wavelength interval of 10 nm.)

We offer certified traceable calibrations in 3 geometries using the following reference quality spectrophotometers: (A) Konica-Minolta CM-2500c, 360 - 740 x 10 nm, (45/0) bi-directional geometry. (B) GretagMacbeth ColorEye 7000A, 360 - 750 x 10 nm, SPIN (specular-included) and SPEX (specular-excluded) geometries.

To provide traceability we maintain 40 reference standards recently calibrated at the National Research Council of Canada, the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, or Avian Technologies L.L.C. For the (0/45) geometry our 10 reference standards span the wavelength range 250 - 850 x 5 nm. For the SPIN and SPEX geometries the range is 360 - 830 x 1 nm.
